Rekonstruksi Kurikulum PAI dalam Merespons Perubahan Pendidikan dan Masyarakat
Abstract
Changes in education and society require Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curricula to remain relevant without losing their Islamic normative foundation. This study aims to analyze these changes and formulate a conceptual direction for reconstructing PAI curriculum components. The study uses qualitative library research with a conceptual review approach. Relevant literature on responsive curriculum, PAI curriculum development, educational change, and social change was analyzed through content analysis and conceptual synthesis. The findings show that PAI curriculum reconstruction should address objectives and competencies, content, pedagogy, learning resources, and assessment, while Islamic values serve as the normative direction of change. The proposed model connects educational and social changes with critical curricular responses, normative direction, component reconstruction, and transformative outcomes. Technology is positioned as one dimension of change rather than the sole basis for curriculum reconstruction.
