Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Author Guidelines

Carefully read the submission guidelines as follows:

A. General Requirements
The minimum standard requirements of Takuana Journal must be

  1. Written in Bahasa Indonesia, English, or Arabic.
  2. The length of the submitted paper is at least 10 pages and no more than 15 pages. Editors will evaluate if an article needs more than 15 pages.
  3. Use a tool such as Zotero or Mendeley for reference management and formatting, and choose the Turabian of Style 8th Edition (full note)
  4. Make sure that your paper is prepared using the Takuana Journal Template

B. Structure of The Paper
The paper must be prepared and suggested present following the structure:

  1. Title
    The paper's title should describe the research aims, method/model, and objective, without Acronym or abbreviation. All articles submitted should Have an English Title and Roman Script and no more than 16 words.
  2. Abstract 
    The abstract is written in English and Bahasa Indonesia. Presented in one paragraph and limited to between 100-200 words with no citation. State the primary objective, research design, method, main outcomes, essential findings, conclusions, and research implications. Please note that there should be no spelling, grammar, and expression errors in the language used.
  3. Keywords
    4-7 keywords; separate with the semicolon; alphabetical order. Keywords will allow your article to be more easily searchable when published
  4. Section structure
    Authors are suggested to present their articles in the section structure:
    -  Introduction
    The introduction should set the study in context by briefly reviewing relevant subject knowledge; follow this with a concise statement of the study's objectives.

    - Method
    It's a brief description of the methods/techniques used (should not describe these method principles if readers can be directed to easily accessible references or standard texts).

    - Results and Discussion
    A clear presentation of experimental results was obtained, highlighting any trends or points of interest. Should not repeat the results in both tables and figures. Instead, the discussion should relate to the significance of the observations.


    - Conclusion
    A brief explanation of the significance and implications of the work reported.

    - Acknowledgments (optional)
    Any individuals who contributed to the manuscript but did not meet the necessary criteria for authorship should be acknowledged. However, acknowledgments should be limited to those who helped extensively, such as providing statistical help, essential equipment, or translating references.

    - References
    The article should have at least 15 references; 60% of primary references from national and international journals paper published in the last 5 years, and 40% of secondary literature can be from the internet or books published not more than 10 years. References are written in Turabian of Style 8th Edition (full note). Please use a consistent format for references.

    Arabic references should be transliterated according to the guideline

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
